Gary Fujimoto, M.D.

Clifford B.G. Chang, M.D. of St. Francis, Edward Yamada, M.D. of Kuakini and Gary M. Fujimoto, M.D. of Kapiolani played a pivotal role in the formation of the tri-partnership of PHC. (HMSA would be later included as the 3rd partner of PHC in association with the IPA and the Trihospital organization.) Each of the Chiefs of Staff selected two other physicians from their respective medical staffs to develop separate IPA's at their respective institutions.
