Sr. Sara Dwyer from Network (http://www.networklobby.org), a Catholic Social Justice Lobby, spoke to students at the May convocation about Catholic Social Teaching. She also led a prayer service, "Being a Voice for Justice", for those who are marginalized. All students were given the option of observing a Day of Silence commemorating various groups of the poor and vulnerable throughout the world.
