The guys name was Dave Frisby, DADS football outreach worker. He told me all about DADS and what he did and I was very interested as a parent myself and someone who loves to play football I totally appreciated what DADS were trying to do. I spoke to Dave gave up my own free time to go on the road with him on various projects and during this time they put me through my F.A. Level 1 Coaching.

I have worked on various projects with Dave such as the Pearson Park Project on Thursdays and the projects in the Wyke area as well as going into schools and Wolds prison.

Farewell to DADs outreach worker Dave Frisby

Dave Frisby the Football Foundation sponsored outreach worker is leaving DADs to develop a career away from football. With the Football Foundation grant finishing, and no guarantee of future funding, at 44 years, Dave has taken an opportunity to start a new and exciting career in statutory service provision.Rob Broomfield said "this is a real success story for DADs; Dave had no experience of charity and community outreach work before he started with DADs, he has developed programmes in communities, schools, prisons and has travelled to Nairobi on a factfinding tour; with DADs he has gained Level 1 & 2 Literacy & Numeracy on the DADs SRB6 Skills for Life programme, is a Common Purpose Graduate and now he has the opportunity to move to a dedicated career, we are sure that he'll be working very hard in his new surroundings!".
