Mrs. Nili Friedman
Nili Friedman has been teaching Akiva the last two years.She is excited to be starting her third year teaching 4 th grade language arts, math, and social studies and 5 th grade language arts.Mrs. Friedman strives to instill a love of learning in her students by providing them with a safe environment in which they feel comfortable taking academic risks and teaching them the skills they need to learn independently.A graduate of a community Jewish day school, herself, Mrs. Friedman makes a constant effort to integrate Judaism into her classes.She places a strong emphasis on writing in all subject area with a focus on teaching students how to improve their writing.Mrs. Friedman received her B.A. from Brandeis University and is currently working towards her M.A. at Vanderbilt.In addition to her position at Akiva, she is the family educator at West End Synagogue.
