Gregory T. French, a Senior GPS/GIS Project Manager with Baker (Baker GeoResearch, Inc., responsible for implementing GPS/GIS field data acquisition and developing GIS databases for user applications.
Prior to joining Baker GeoResearch, Mr. French was a faculty research scientist and instructor at the University of Maryland's Department of Geography, specializing in coastal management.He currently retains the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor of General Science at the University of Maryland's University College.Mr. French also served as the Chief of Remote Sensing Data Research and Acquisition for the EPA's Environmental Photographic Interpretation Center.Mr. French was a Science Advisor to the Cine Award Winning video documentary Vanishing Lands and was nominated for a Teaching Excellence Award.
He holds a Master's degree in Physical Geography, with minors in Geology, Computer Applications in Geography, and GIS theory.
