Starting the position as clinical leader of walk-in services at Horseshoe Pond is Carol Frechette, a registered nurse and clinical leader of Concord Hospital's emergency department.Walk-in services includes the urgent care center, occupational health and laboratory services.A Concord Hospital employee since 1979, Frechette has served in many nursing roles, both in Concord and elsewhere, including pediatrics, medical/surgical, supervising, post surgical and emergency.

Frechette, who is a certified emergency nurse, obtained her nursing degree from Roger Williams General Hospital School of Nursing.She also holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from New England College.She has been the ED clinical leader for the past four years.

"I was very excited when I first heard about the Horseshoe Pond project," said Frechette.
