Pastor Leon Franklin is from Texas, where he attended Southwestern Christian College and met his wife, Olivia.They married in 1977 and briefly moved to Oklahoma City where Pastor Lee completed his education at Oklahoma Christian University, receiving his BA degree in Business Management with a minor in Bible.
During his college years he began to preach and teach classes and has continued since 1975.Over the years, his desire to pastor grew as he served as minister for the Lancaster Church of Christ, Associate Pastor for Pomona Valley Praise Temple and Loveland Church where he was also ordained as an elder.
The Lord began to move in his heart to start a new church in the Temecula/Murrieta Valley and he began The Living Word Church and is excited at what the Lord is doing.
Pastor Lee and Olivia have four children, Leon (27), Lauren (25), Landon (23) and Leland (21), one daughter-in-law Kieshia and one granddaughter, Mariyah Cherie.
