Andrew Frank Andrew Frank 46, a salesperson for Eddie Bauer in Pentagon City, Virginia, died Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at the Alexandria Hospital in Virginia of pneumonia, according to his friend and roommate, William D. Hampton of Alexandria
Frank was born July 4, 1952, in Compton, Calif., where he graduated from Centennial High School in early 1970s. Following that, he lived all over, Hampton said, including Hollywood. Frank danced all his life, Hampton said, and during the 1970s and 80s, he toured with singer and former Supreme Diana Ross as one of her dancers.
He moved to Washington, D.C., in the early 1980s. In the early 1990s he and Hampton moved to Arlington, Va., and later to Alexandria. Frank worked part-time at Crystal Boutique in Crystal City, Va., where he arranged window and mannequin displays, and he worked full-time as a salesperson at Eddie Bauer men's clothing store in Pentagon City, Va.
Frank dedicated his life to the fashion industry, Hampton said, and was blessed with a God-given talent for sketching women's faces and clothing.
His passing will leave a great void in the life of his loved ones and friends, Hampton said. -
