Reverend Francisco studied in the Roman Catholic Seminary Fray Junípero Serra in the Planes of Renderos, San Salvador, El Salvador, from 1983 to 1978.It was there that he began as a preacher in the local churches of the municipality of Panchimalco.In 1978 he received Bachelors Degree in Sciences and Humanities at the Institute Salesiano Rinaldi of San Salvador.In 1979 he entered an association of one of the smaller Franciscan friars in the capital of Guatemala, where he remained from January to April of that year.There he served as preacher in a church in the area.Having felt the leading of God, he left the association in April of the same year and he moved to San Salvador.In 0ctober of 1979 he began his career in banking with the Banco de Comercio (the Commerce Bank), where he worked until Julio of 1985.In spite of being very active in his religion, he felt that something was lacking in his life.He was called by God during a retreat in November of 1983.After experiencing the love of God at the retreat, he accepted Christ as Lord and Savior.In 1984 he entered the Anglican seminary of the Episcopal Church of El Salvador. In August of 1985, he left work with the Banco de Comercio to dedicate himself to full time ministry as pastor.He was ordained as Deacon on the 19th of November of 1986 in San Salvador and as priest on the 16th of October of 1987.In El Salvador, he served as pastor of the Churches of San Pedro and San Pablo in Agachapan and Florida in Santa Ana.
