The moves stem in part from the departure of Fox, who was group president and publishing director of the Golf Digest, Fairchild Fashion and Bridal Media groups.Fox joined the company in 1989 as publisher of Details, later becoming publisher of Vanity Fair and president of CN's Golf Digest Cos. unit.In early 2006, he added responsibility for W magazine and the bridal group as part of a reorg of the Advance Magazine Group units that are now part of Condé Nast Publications.
Fox also had responsibility for W and Bon Appétit, whose publishers will now report to Townsend.
