Alex Fox , ORBIMAGE's Director of Products and Services , stated Core's TerraSoar software offered a low cost COTS solution which could be easily tailored to support the business objectives for the OrbView Cities program. He added , We were very pleased with Core's outstanding support for our OrbView Cities Aerial Catalog. In approximately ten weeks a fully operational system was delivered to ORBIMAGE providing their customers with easy on-line access to the OrbView Cities one meter panchromatic imagery.

Core worked closely with the ORBIMAGE technical staff and incorporated additional features into the standard software product based on their feedback.Core's commercial web based TerraSoar software solution powers the interactive site allowing customers to search and order data sets directly over the Internet. An intuitive map interface allows users to search archives geographically by zooming in on their area of interest with a click of the mouse.Imagery may be previewed and then purchased if desired by simply adding it to an automated shopping cart.Selected data sets will be delivered to the customer via CD-ROM or 8mm tape.Product holdings currently feature fourteen North American cities with archives growing to include hundreds of other urban areas throughout the world with the launch of the OrbView-3 and OrbView-4 satellites.
