Denis has been a Director of the Bas-St-Laurent Holstein Club, Director and Secretary for the Groupe de Jeunes ruraux (4-H), Relève Agricole, and the UPA base syndicate (Métis). He has served as Municipal Councillor for Ste-Luce and as a member of the Urban Advisory Committee for the municipality.

As National Director, Denis will be easily accessible to members. He anticipates being an active participant in Board and committee discussions for the improvement of the Holstein breed.
