Doctor Dave, David Fournier, has 25 years of experience with Harley-Davidson motorcycle repairs and 35 years riding experience.He steadily worked his way up the line in the Harley repair world.From 1976-1982 he was the Custom and New Bike Department Manager for Harley-Davidson West.His department was responsible for repairs and restorations to wrecked bikes.
Dave FournierIn 1982 Dave went to work for Modern Motors Cadillac where he supervised 25 repair technicians.It wasn't long before he received a promotion to Service Manager.But, Dave couldn't shake his love of Harley-Davidson bike repair and by 1985 he was ready to return to his first interest.
Dave went to work for Bartels Harley-Davidson as a Custom Design, Chrome Manager.He stayed there for 14 years before taking a job as Custom Design, Shop Foreman, and Chrome Exchange Manager for Carson Tahoe Harley-Davidson in 1999.And he continues to work in that position.
Dave in the shopDave is highly qualified.He knows Harley-Davidsons top to bottom, and specializes in electrical system troubleshooting and repair.Along the way Dave earned his credentials as a Harley-Davidson PHD Master Technician and for years paid his dues as a shop foreman.The many tasks associated with these qualifications included accessorizing new motorcycles for the Sales Floor, fabricating wiring harnesses, and motorcycle repair; rebuilding of motors, transmissions, and cases; restoration of wrecks; and trainer of repair technicians.His 20+ years of training and experience has been publicized in nationwide motorcycle and bike magazines.
And Dave has the education credentials to back up his on-the-job experience.He has been educated by General Motors School, Harley-Davidson in both Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Phoenix, Arizona.He has taken management courses from the Dale Carnegie Institute.
