Daniel Fournier, born in 1954, trustee of the Fund, trustee of the Trust, GP Director and lead director and trustee of the Board of Trustees and Board of Directors, has more than 20 years of experience in business administration.
Since 1998, Mr. Fournier has served as President of ACNG Capital Inc., a real estate advisory company.
From 1986 to 1997, Mr. Fournier was Chairman and majority shareholder of Ogilvy, a Montreal retail company.
Mr. Fournier is also currently Vice-Chairman and director of CB Richard Ellis Canada.
He serves on the board of directors of Canadian Tire Corporation and the Canadian Tire Bank.
Mr. Fournier was a trustee of Summit Reit as well as a member of the independent special committee until the sale of Summit for $3.2 billion to ING Canada in January, 2007.
He has also served on the board of Standard Life of Canada, and Standard Life Trust.
Mr. Fournier is also the founding Chairman of NF (Neurofibromatosis) Canada.
He is the past Chairman of McCord Museum of Canadian History and past Vice-Chairman of the Fondation Jean Lapointe as well as a past member of both the YWCA and YMCA Foundations.
He holds a Bachelor of History degree from Princeton University (1977) and a Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence from Oxford University (1980).
