Alain Le Fort was born in 1953. He graduated from University of Geneva in 1975 (lic.iur.), and was admitted to the bar in 1977. Alain Le Fort participated in The Chase Manhattan Bank NA Credit Training and Development Program in New York USA in 1978. In 1978/1979 he worked as a trainee with the law firm Waring Cox, Memphis, Tennessee (USA). He became an associate with Pestalozzi Lachenal Patry in March 1979, where he has been a Partner since 1983. Member of the Board of the Geneva Bar Association since 1998, Alain Le Fort was appointed Chairman in April 2004.
