Jack Ford, co-owner of the commercial park, said it's too early to get excited about the company "because there is too much smoke and windows."

Ford said a number of people are interested in various portions of the park.He said four years' time has been invested in improving the property, grooming it for a big user.

Typically with the EDC, as now, Ford said he might not know the name of a company brought in for a tour.

"Often they drive someone through and may send me a note later. . . . I get those all the time," he said.

Activity has picked up in the last few weeks at Ocala International Commerce Park, and co-owner Jack Ford is glad to see it coming.
