Joyce Floyd is dedicated to the welfare of children and families.She serves on numerous boards and committees such as CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), SILC (Statewide Independent Living Council), Families First Council and Family Leadership First (where she helps plan the Annual Family Leadership Conference), and the Governor's Citizens Advisory Council, She helped organize the Family Resource Network in Randolph County and also serves as a board member.
