A veteran of "the industry" since 1986 John Floyd has seen many changes in our industry but loves what he does.In almost 20 years John has worked on site for many professional associations in the capacity of "official air freight shipper" and credits his success to a philosophy of superior customer service and a personal level of caring.John first joined IAEM (then called NAEM) around 1989.

John credits The Potomac Hotel Group for his sales training that has proven the bedrock of his career.That kind of in the trenches sales training has sent our industry many leaders.After a year as Director of Sales for The Highland Hotel, John began a 10 year stint at US Express Freight Systems here in Washington as Director of Sales & Marketing where John was a trail blazer in the "official shipper" arena.Serving all kinds of shows and show managers has given John a keen insight into the exposition industry.John then opened the Washington Office for Airways Freight in 1999 and has been thrilled ever since.John served as IAEM'S Official Air and Ground Shipper in 2004 for the San Antonio meeting.
