Mark Fletcher President, ENT Division Medtronic Xomed

Mark Fletcher joined Medtronic Xomed in 1994 as Vice-President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing. In 1996, he was promoted to President of the company's Solan Ophthalmic Division. Under his leadership, Solan's revenues grew at a compounded annual growth rate of 30 percent between 1996 and 2000. In addition, Mark was instrumental in the company's

(Xomed Surgical Products, Inc.) successful initial public offering in 1996.

In November of 2000, Mark was promoted to the newly created position of President, ENT Division. He now leads the company's sales, marketing, and other commercial initiatives.

Prior to joining Medtronic Xomed, Mark held positions of increasing responsibility with Stryker Medical including Director of Business Development, Director of Marketing, Vice President of Sales, Vice President and General Manager (Stryker Medical B.V. - Netherlands) and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Stryker Medical enjoyed revenue and profit growth in excess of 20 percent annually during Mark's tenure.

Mark holds a bachelor's degree in finance and marketing from St. Mary's College.
