,Washington, DC -- Today The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) announced the election of Kenneth L. Noller, MD, of Massachusetts, as President Elect; Sandra A. Carson, MD, of Texas, as Vice President; James T. Breeden, MD, of Nevada, as Treasurer; Peter A. Schwartz, MD, of Pennsylvania, as Assistant Secretary; and Steven J. Fleischman, MD, of Connecticut, as Fellow-at-Large, at its 54th Annual Clinical Meeting.

Dr. Steven J. Fleischman is in private group practice with Obstetrics, Gynecology & Menopause Physicians in New Haven, CT.He has been a member of the ACOG Grievance Committee and the Committee on Electronic Medical Records.He has served as chair and vice chair of the Junior Fellow College Advisory Council.Dr. Fleischman has been a member of ACOG's Executive Board, the Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Paper Committee, and the Task Force on Expert Witnesses.Additionally, he has served as ACOG District I Junior Fellow chair and as Junior Fellow chair of ACOG's Connecticut Section.Dr. Fleischman is currently the president of the New Haven County Medical Association, and he holds leadership positions with Ob-Gyns for Women's Health and the Connecticut State Medical Society.He completed his medical degree at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, and his residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT.
