Founder and Principal

Michael T. Finch is the founder and principal of Black Watch Capital and Consulting.

He has served as the CFO or interim CFO for several small to medium sized private equity backed or venture capital backed companies in the Denver area. Black Watch Consulting is focused on profitability and operational management to mid-market services companies, generally with revenue ranging from $10 million to $50 million, with as many as 150 employees. A typical client is founder-operated, at a time in the lifecycle of the company when growth has outpaced the ability of the founder to efficiently manage and consecutively implement, and operational inefficiencies are restraining the company from reaching objectives.

Michael Finch also worked in public accounting with the firms Arthur Andersen and KPMG, where he served as an Audit Manager. Prior to joining Arthur Andersen, he was an investment consultant with Paine Webber, specializing in equity and derivatives trading.

He received a Master's Degree in Accounting along with an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver and is a Certified Public Accountant in Colorado. Michael is a member of the Board of Directors of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and participates actively with the Ronald McDonald House and the Bonfils Blood Center.

Michael Finch , Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Finch is responsible for all financial operations and functions at ALN.Before joining ALN, Mr. Finch served as CFO of a Denver-based private equity group, where he acted as the senior financial officer for its portfolio companies.He also worked in public accounting with the firms Arthur Andersen and KPMG, where he served as an Audit Manager.Prior to joining Arthur Andersen, he was an investment consultant with Paine Webber, specializing in equity and derivatives trading.Mr. Finch has been involved in corporate financial operations for more than 15 years
