Alisa conducts research on e-commerce policy issues , analyzing legislative and regulatory activity concerning antitrust , labor , taxation , e-government , and technology business incentives.She also follows tech policy issues at the state level.Alisa provides research and production for DPG's public affairs and management strategies clients and supports outreach efforts to public affairs firms , associations , and businesses affected by technology-related public policy issues.

Previously , Alisa analyzed state legislative activity on a variety of public policy issues as a researcher for the Center for State Policy Research in Washington , DC and for Florida state legislator Ron Klein.Alisa holds a B.S.F.S , cum laude , from the Georgetown University Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.

Alisa Ferguson, DirectorAlisa currently works as a researcher at a public policy consulting firm in Washington, DC.In this capacity she writes and edits policy reports on technology, economic development, and health care issues.She also serves as a consultant to public and private sector clients and assists in designing seminars on project management.Previously, Alisa wrote and edited reports on a variety of state-level legislative and regulatory activities.In addition, she led an internal team in writing and implementing a staff training program and contributed to internal editing and quality assurance policies.Alisa was distinguished as a top proofreader while working as a research associate at the Center for State Policy Research and was recognized for excellence in communications as a director of publicity for a local theater group.Her latest publication, entitled Education-Industry-Government Collaborations: Opportunities for Developing a Local Technology Sector in the District of Columbia was released in May 1999.Alisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
