Abbie Gail O'Quinn Fenley
Services for Abbie Gail O'Quinn Fenley, 92, of Lufkin, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday in the Gipson-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mrs. Fenley was born April 5, 1911, in Angelina County, Texas, the daughter of the late Agnes Drucella (Bargainer) and Charles Edwin O'Quinn, and she died Saturday, July 26, 2003, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Fenley was life-time resident of Lufkin. She was fondly known as "Kizzie" and "Little Fenley" by those who knew and loved her. Mrs. Fenley spent all of her career, 30 years, at Memorial Medical Center of East Texas where she worked as a nurse. She loved to travel and went many places such as England and Canada. Mrs. Fenley enjoyed eating with friends, shopping and reading. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
