   They have a daughter, Irene Yan-Ning Feng. At Beijing University , he studied in two fields: Department of Geophysics, where he met his wife; and School of Economics . After graduation, he worked for one year and then came to the United States to pursue his Ph.D. degree in Environmental Economics at Pennsylvania State University , where he soon knew the Lord, repented and received Jesus Christ into his heart as his personal Lord and Savior. After baptism, he sensed God's calling into full-time ministry. One year after his conversion, during which he also did graduate study of Environmental Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, he followed God's calling into Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary to be equipped for pastoral ministry. While studying in seminary, he served the Lord in Chinese Christian Church of Greater Albany as a Bible study leader, Sunday school teacher, youth ministry director, deacon and preacher. Starting June 2001, during the last year of his seminary study, he came to Rochester Chinese Christian Church as a Pastoral Intern. He was licensed as a minister in Feburary, 2002. He graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in May, 2002 and since then became Minister of Outreach and Care of Rochester Chinese Christian Church. His main ministry area now is to provide pastoral leadership to the newly planted church, Rochester Chinese Christian Church West.
