Ronald William FenderDirector:Ronald William Fender, aged 60.Ronald was employed by two London based Architectural Firms over a period of ten years before setting up his own small practice in Sevenoaks Kent in 1980.The practice went on to specialise in residential schemes for developers and builders and received the ,House of the Year' award at the Ideal Home Exhibition.The practice also gained a significant reputation for the skilful conversions of large properties and Listed Buildings into apartments culminating in a Gold award from the Evening Standard for the ,Best New Conversion' and ,Best New Development' for work on a Grade II* listed convent in Woking.A small development arm was also formed and valuable experience gained from the developers perspective when undertaking a number of successful joint ventures with builders.
Ronald joined Oakdene in May 2004 when Oakdene acquired Ronald Fender Design, of which Ron was the Principal, and he was appointed to the Board in April 2005, with particular responsibility for Design.
