  Lon Fendall is dean of undergraduate studies at George Fox University.At one time he served as legislative director and campaign manager for U. S. Senator Mark Hatfield.He takes us to the scripture as well as to modern lessons some people have learned in their lives of public service, thus encouraging us to also become involved.
