"We made a good adjustment," said Buchanan head coach Fred Felty."We talked about it at halftime. We told them what to expect, and then how to play so it wouldn't happen."
With the Buck offensive line pulled back in the second half, their breakaway chances were drastically reduced.
Brandywine (4-8-1, 2-3-1 Lakeland) played with much more intensity after the halftime break.

Felty was also happy with the way the Buck defense played in the second half, but he thought that his offense could have used a little improvement.
"In the second half, we made some nice runs, but our shots were going right at the goalie," Felty said."We had some good, strong shots, but they were right at the goalie, and the goalie played good."
...
Felty would like to work on his offense in preparation for the postseason.
"I want to get some good finishing drills in there, where we take a lot of shots at targets -- not at the goalie, but at targets," said Felty."We need to put that ball where the goalie isn't."
