John is an independent environmental consultant and an internationally renowned ecologist.He is a Fellow of the Linnean Society, the Royal Entomological Society of London, the Institute of Biology (of which he is also a Chartered Member) and the Association of Lawyers and Legal Advisors.He is also a Member of the Environmental Law Foundation, the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association and the Arboricultural Association and has been on the Register of UK Expert Witnesses since 1995.He has extensive experience throughout eastern and western Europe, North America and Asia and is highly qualified in the disciplines of botany and zoology, with particular expertise in Ecological Assessments, habitat surveys, protected species mitigation and restoration ecology.In addition to his consultancy work he has published extensively on the environment, ecology and conservation.
