Mr. Taalib Felton

Taalib Felton was born in Cape Town, South Africa.Growing up in the apartheid era, motivated him to succeed in whatever he was going to do.At this point in time the future for black South Africans look very bleak.Taalib was not going except the injustice, of the so call "white government", but turned around the system to his advantage.He knew that if he wanted to succeed he had to work double hard as his white counter parts.He promised himself that he would never work for a "white man".

After getting married in 1986, his farther in law introduced him to the transport business.He started as a cab driver.Within one year he was promoted to regulator of the Black Taxi Association.Six months after that was promoted to liaison officer between the taxi organisations and government.After building up contacts while working in the transport industry, he decided to quite and moves into tourism.With the support of his family, especially his farther that travelled extensively around the world, encouraged him to go into tourism.

In 1995, Falcon Tours was established.In the beginning it was not easy as a black businessman trying to enter a predominately white industry.Taalib had to work "24 hours a day" just trying to keep his head above water.During the day he marketed his business and at night trying to earn a living.Even though, in 1994 when all walls came down on apartheid socially, but economically apartheid is still active in the country.Taalib's vibrant personality, loyalty and passion with his experience and contacts gave him an advantage over other businesses.

Taalib started out driving backpackers to and from the airport.Since then his business had grown and are now involved in car rentals, accommodation, VIPs, group bookings and conferences.Mr Felton has worked with the High Commissions in Cape Town, World commissions of Dams, with minister Kader Asmal, International Council of Social Welfare (ICSW), with director Nigel Tarling, Egyptian Earth Construction Association with Karim Ebrahim, the owners of the Grand Hotels world wide, Mr. Tan and Mr. Tee.

Mr Felton is currently marketing Falcon Tours internationally, with aims to form new partnerships and ventures with other businesses abroad.Mr. Felton's objective is to attract potential investors to South Africa to make South Africa a tourist mecca, and to empower black business.

Mr. Felton has recently formed a partnership with FTI in USA, where they will be bringing black African American over to South Africa.
