   Lara Eve Feltin has been an indie photographer since 1999. As Studio LEAF, she specializes in a documentary style of black and white portraits of babies and children. She co-founded Biznik with Dan McComb in November, 2005. As a visual artist (painting, sculpture & photography) and proud of her Montessori education, Lara tends to think outside the box in regards to most things, contributing a creative and innovative eye to every project she embarks on.

   Lara Feltin and seven other small business operators (all women) meet once a month over takeout Thai in each other's livingrooms - an attorney, a moving specialist, an employer of seven, an organic tea manufacturer, a jewelry designer, a psychotherapist, an interior redesigner, a founder and operator of a large pilates studio, a loan officer, a children's play space entrepreneur, a freelance writer, a portrait photographer, a budding concierge service, and the founder of an online start-up. (If you counted more than eight, that's because many of these women wear more than one hat!)
   
   They will discuss the history of their formation, how they run their meetings, what they've learned to avoid, and why they continue to meet once a month for the last 1 and a half years. They also provide some tips and suggestions, and facilitate you meeting others who'd like to create a similar group.
