Dorice Feltheim
Appleton resident, Dorice Feltheim, has left her "imprint" in the community, on the lives of older persons and in the hearts of the Outagamie County Aging Services Department for her outstanding character and philanthropy. Dorice received this recognition because she chaired and served six years on the Outagamie County Aging Advisory Committee, volunteers with the Humane Society as a tour guide and on fundraising projects, tutors first graders through the community's "United for Reading Success" program, is involved with the Appleton Medical Center's Auxiliary and serves her church as a lay reader and communion assistant. However, Dorice's greatest passion and claim to fame has been "Senior Showcase" where she has been the key hostess and lead since 1987. Weekly, Dorice produces this cable television show run by senior volunteers. Under her direction, "Senior Showcase" has produced over 725 shows and received national and statewide recognition. It is because of this unselfish devotion to others that she receives an Ageless Heroes Award.
