   John Feltham, a spokesman for the RNLI, said: 'It all happened so quickly. They soon realised when they got there he was not in a good way and needed to get to hospital but to do that they had to get him off the yacht.

   The RNLI's John Feltham said: 'We are delighted that someone so young should take an interest in lifeboats.
   
   'The money he donated is very much appreciated and will go towards the all important training of our lifeboat crews.'
   
   Cllr Blake was equally impressed with the youngster's generosity.
   
   He said: 'It's brilliant that one so young is prepared to give up his pocket money and toys. I had a chat with him and he was a lovely lad. He knows quite a bit about the sea too.

   John Feltham, spokesman from the Portsmouth RNLI, said it was important that people were cautious about swimming in the sea at this time of year.He said: 'The water temperature is still very low at the moment.People should not be fooled by the short spell of hot weather we are having at the moment.
