Mrs. Lisa Felske

Lisa Felske , chairman of the Science Department at HSPVA, teaches Biology, pre-AP Biology and AP Biology.She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degrees from Rice University.Mrs. Felske has participated in summer workshops at Boston University, Tufts University, Rice University, University of Houston and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.She was also part of the writing and editing team for Houston ISD's Project Clear for Integrated Physics and Chemistry, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.Teaching awards include a Leadership in Education Award from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1997, HSPVA's Teacher of the Year in 1998, and Houston ISD's Outstanding Young Educator for 1998.She and her husband, Dr. Daniel Felske, are expecting their first child in February.
