   Dr. Felske graduated from Wheaton College (Illinois) with a degree in exercise physiology.
   
   After receiving her degree as a doctor of podiatric medicine, she completed general and surgical podiatric residencies at Cook County Hospital and Norwegian-American Hospital in Chicago.
   
   Dr. Felske joined SportsMed-Wheaton Orthopaedics in 1999. Board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, she is also a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Her interests include Sports Medicine conditions, as well as fractures, bunions, hammertoe, diabetic foot care, and other foot and ankle problems. She especially enjoys treating athletes of all ages and has a special interest in running-related injuries.
   
   Growing up in a family of physicians who were also very involved in athletics fostered her interest in medicine and physical activity. Dr. Felske was a competitive basketball player and runner throughout college and continues to participate in road races from 5K's to half-marathons. She is setting her sights on triathlon competition. She also enjoys reading, traveling and golf. Dr. Felske is active in medical-ministry service. She lives in Wheaton with her husband, Pete, who is the women?s soccer and softball coach at Wheaton College.
