Sam Felker is a trial attorney in the Nashville Downtown office and leads the products liability practice of Bass, Berry & Sims PLC.He joined the firm in 1980, immediately after graduation from law school, and has developed a broad litigation practice encompassing products liability and general commercial cases.In recent years, Mr. Felker has concentrated on defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers.In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Felker often consults with clients regarding insurance coverage and products liability exposure.
Mr. Felker is experienced in virtually all aspects of litigation and alternative dispute resolution, particularly in the field of products liability.He has tried jury cases in all three of Tennessee's Federal Districts and in state courts throughout Tennessee and other states.He has represented numerous manufacturing clients both in large, multi-district litigation and in the trial of individual cases.Mr. Felker also has extensive experience in defending mass tort cases, especially pharmaceutical and medical device cases, both as lead counsel and as local counsel for manufacturing clients.He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and Lawdragon 3000 Leading Lawyers in America .
