He negotiated and funded the buy-out of the Spider Software business after Spider Systems was acquired by Shiva in mid 1995. He then became Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of Spider Software. Nick then oversaw the re-building of the Spider Software business, and re-established a prestige customer base (Ericsson, Motorola, Lucent, Nortel, etc). Spider Software was acquired by Artesyn Technologies in March 2000.
