Lisa FelicianoSince her early start at Broadway advertising agency Serino-Coyne in New York City, Lisa's award-winning communications career has spanned more than 20 years in both New York and Connecticut, combining the best of regional and national media savvy with strong, strategic and creative writing talents in both the public relations and advertising arenas.
She joined Andrea Obston Marketing Communications after almost four years as Public and Media Relations Specialist at the Connecticut Historical Society Museum and Old State House in Hartford.Lisa was a member of the team responsible for the re-branding of the Connecticut Historical Society Museum.She was also responsible for the promotion of the Old State House's launch of the $3.5 million dollar History Is All Around Us exhibit.
Before that, Lisa honed her account management expertise in some of the area's top agencies, most notably, O'Neal & Prelle, Cronin and Company and The Kotchen Group.At O & P, her clients included everything from finance (USI Consulting Group) and healthcare (Marriot Senior Living Services, Middlesex Hospital, and Saint Francis Care) to entertainment and tourism (The Connecticut Forum and the State of Connecticut Office of Tourism), among others.Lisa also contributed to high-profile accounts at Cronin and Company (including the Connecticut Lottery and GotoMyDoc.com).Her work at The Kotchen Group included two national book tours, including one in the well-known Chicken Soup series, Chicken Soup for the Veteran's Soul.
For eight years as Publicity Manager for non-fiction book publisher The Globe Pequot Press, Lisa worked with literally hundreds of books and authors nationally, landing bookings on every national morning show during her tenure.
Lisa's writing has been honored with a number of awards, including two Publicity Club of New England Bell Ringer Awards for Best News Release-Regional (Golden Bell) and Best Broadcast Feature (Merit) at O'Neal & Prelle, plus a PRSA/CT Valley Chapter Silver Mercury Award for Press Kit (Cronin & Company).
Lisa holds a B.F.A. in Drama (with a Minor in Journalism) from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
