Susan Feldman, violinist and music educator, has devoted much of her career to the study of historically informed performance on period instruments from the Middle Ages through the Baroque, particularly the baroque violin and the vielle. She performs regularly with Los Angeles' Musica Angelica, and has appeared with Los Angeles Baroque Orchestra, New York's Soave Diletti, and Seattle Baroque Orchestra. Susan holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Music as well as a Doctorate in Early Music Performance, both from The University of Southern California, where she met and gathered the other members of La Monica. Susan is currently on the faculty at the Stephen S. Wise Music Academy and the Ocean Charter School, both in Los Angeles, and also maintains a private studio of 40 students.

SUSAN FELDMAN (baroque violin) is an active teacher in Los Angeles and performer throughout the United States. Susan holds a bachelor's degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, a master's degree from the University of Southern California, where she studied with Robert Lipsett, and a doctorate from USC in early music performance, where she studied with James Tyler, Ingrid Matthews, and Elizabeth Blumenstock. She has devoted much of her professional career to the study of historically informed performance on period instruments from the Middle Ages through the Baroque. In 1999, Susan co-founded La Monica, a period instrument chamber ensemble dedicated to performing music of the Baroque period. Susan is currently on the faculty at the Stephen S. Wise Music Academy and Ocean Charter School in Los Angeles and maintains a private studio of 20 students.

Susan Feldman received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Early Music Performance from the University of Southern California.While pursing a degree in modern violin, she was drawn to historical performance and founded La Monica.In Los Angeles, Susan plays principal violin with Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra, Musica Viva, and Los Angeles Baroque Orchestra.She has also performed with the New York-based group, Soave Diletti, and the Seattle Baroque Orchestra.Susan is currently on the faculty at the Stephen S. Wise music academy, the Cornerstone Music Conservatory and also maintains a private violin studio.
