    Ron Feldman and Mic McPherson
    ...
The authors met in 1973 when Mic McPherson's prospecting group rented horses from Ron Feldman's O.K.Corral. A friendship developed and Mic and Ron are now engaged in the continuing quest for lost mines and the history they entail. The unique blend of Feldman's storytelling and McPherson's detail sparks this story, the first of a series.

Ron Feldman always dreamed of the Old West and finally in 1968 legends of lost gold mines and Zane Grey western stories drew him to Arizona. He established the O.K. Corral Stables in Arizona. This outfitting and guide service is located in the foothills of the infamous Superstition Mountain (home of the Lost Duchman's gold mine) and is one of the most successful stables in the Southwest. An authority on lost mine lore and regional history, Ron has appeared many times on national television and is a guest lecturer at Central Arizona College.

Mic McPherson, born and raised in the US west, has been referred to as a "Renaissance Man" but his lifelong fascination with lost gold mine lore led him to study geology and history. He is a well published author and has articles appearing in special interest national magazines such as Modern Gold Miner.
