Curacao-based online gaming operator Gaming VC Holdings has announced that Lee Feldman has been appointed as its new Non-Executive Chairman, replacing Adrian Smith.

Feldman is a corporate lawyer and was previously a Non-Executive Director for the firm.He is also a partner in American private equity fund Softbank Capital, which focuses on the technology and media sectors, and has a large amount of experience in securing investment along with corporate and business development.
Gaming VC announced last week that it had ceased takeover talks with a still unidentified party after four months of negotiations.The firm operates online casino sites such as CasinoClub.com, Betaland.com and Winzingo.com and the revelation saw its shares plunge the most in 20 months of trading, some 17 percent, on the London Stock Exchange.At the time, Gaming VC stated that it was also considering a share buy-back programme alongside an approach from Audley Capital Management Limited, which holds a 29.3 percent share, for board representation.
Before working with Softbank, Feldman served as Vice-President of Corporate Development for Ziff-Davis, which was a media technology company listed on the New York Stock Exchange with annual revenues over one billion dollars.
