It gives IBM Netfinity Servers clear distinction and leadership over other Intel/NT servers , and reinforces our commitment to our customers to bring them highly flexible and scalable solutions to help them gain control over their businesses , said John Feldman , manager of the IBM alliance at J.D. Edwards.
With the rapid growth of our OneWorld application suites on NT and our client's requirements for high availability , IBM Netfinity servers are among the best servers available for mission-critical applications , with a 99.9 percent availability guarantee provided by IBM. We are pleased to be the first enterprise software provider to announce cooperation with IBM on the Netfinity Availability Extension for MSCS program , Feldman said.
Based on IBM X-architecture , the Netfinity Availability Extensions for MSCS were designed and tested to be compatible with MSCS Application Program Interfaces ( APIs ). Applications like J.D. Edwards' OneWorld , written to MSCS APIs , are well suited to take advantage of the availability and manageability features of this solution.
