When an alarm is triggered, Security Broadband's staff at its central monitoring stations use cameras and intercom stations to see and hear inside the home, and then contact the authorities as necessary.While some might think "Big Brother" here, keep in mind that the only time that live audio and video are sent from the home to the central monitoring station is during an alarm.

With more than 20 years of engineering, design, research and development experience in the telecommunications industry, Greg Feldkamp is vice president of engineering for Security Broadband Corp., a premium security and lifestyle communications systems and service provider.Prior to his position with Security Broadband, he served as director of cellular network systems engineering for Motorola, where he guided network architecture and design efforts for third generation cellular solutions.Feldkamp was also director of network integration at Bellcore (now Telcordia Technologies).A current member of the Graduate School Advisory Council at the University of Colorado, Feldkamp received a bachelor of science in physics from the University of Michigan and earned his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in physics (solid state) from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
