    DAVID FEISS

David Feiss is the creator and supervising director of Cow and Chicken, the cartoon that really captures the American dream- a nice house with a white picket fence, a loving father, a doting mother and two kids who just happen to be a 460 lb. cow and a chicken with an attitude.

David Feiss made the Entertainment Weekly "IT" list as one of the most creative people in entertainment in 1999.His credits include "Tom & Jerry" and "Jetsons: The Movie."David Feiss was born in Sacramento, California and started making films at the age of 12.He started working for Hanna Barbera in 1978.David's idea for the show, Cow and Chicken, started out as a bedtime story that he made up "on the fly" for his then 6 year old daughter.

Cow & Chicken: A somewhat successful (lasted 4 seasons plus a short-lived spin-off called "I Am Weasel") Cartoon Network original series from David Feiss, who started working at Hanna-Barbera while still in his teens, and worked at H-B for a good long time (although he briefly worked as an animator on the Ren & Stimpy pilot "Big House Blues", and then became an animation director on the first 2 seasons of the Ren & Stimpy Show).

Who Framed Roger Rabbit: A great movie.

As others have accurately noted, the program's creator/producer, David Feiss, often places an obsessive focus on grossness in general and prominent body parts, like I. R. Baboon's red butt, in particular. He shows the same flaw in his other Cartoon Network series, "Cow and Chicken", where his depiction of Cow as the rarest-of-rare, a fully-realized multi-dimensional female cartoon character, is diminished by an animated overemphasis on her udders.I am sure this problem originates with some traumatic experience in Mr. Feiss's childhood, and a program of appropriate cognitive and behavioral therapy would do him a world of good and he can produce even superior cartoons in the future.
