DETROIT - DTE Energy Solutions, a subsidiary of DTE Energy Co., has appointed Michael Faubert to vice president of marketing and sales.He is responsible for providing construction, field-testing, pole and transformer recycling services, and storm restoration to electric municipalities, cooperatives and investor-owned utilities.
Detroit-based DTE Energy Solutions is an unregulated subsidiary of DTE Energy that markets innovative distribution and customer services to meet the sophisticated requirements of utilities, electric cooperatives and other industries.
Faubert has served as the director of Detroit Edison's major account customer services organization providing technical and administrative direction to the business units in that group, including the Energy Partnership, Electric Vehicle and Consulting Services programs.During the past year Faubert has played a leadership role in the development and promotion of new unregulated business ventures.

Prior to joining Detroit Edison, Faubert served as vice president of hardware engineering for a computer company that designed products for a newspaper publishing system.He also served as a senior consultant who directed environmental engineering activity at a consulting firm.
A registered professional engineer, Faubert earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Detroit, and master of science and doctorate degrees in mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan.
