Golin/Harris International today named Sue Farr, former Director of Public Service Marketing for BBC Broadcast, London, as Regional Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, effective February 6. She will be responsible for guiding the operations of Golin/Harris offices in London, Frankfurt, Madrid and new offices throughout the region.

As the Director of Public Service Marketing for BBC Broadcast, Ms. Farr was responsible for creating and implementing the marketing and communications strategies for all of the BBC's public service brands, including BBC Television, BBC Radio, BBC News, BBC Education, BBC Sport, BBC Regional Broadcasting, BBC Online and all the BBC's Digital Services.

Prior to her tenure with BBC, she held several marketing and communications positions with Thames Television PLC, Wight Collins Rutherford Scott, Northern Foods, KAE, Bates Dorland and CDP.
Ms. Farr is currently chairman of the Marketing Group of Great Britain, the first woman to hold the position, and is also a member of Forum UK, the Woman's Advertising Club of London, the Royal Television Society, the Royal Arts Society and the Institute of Directors.
