  Ron Farr and I met with Dean Hunter on January 18th.Dean is making a survey of our lines to see what he can suggest and where he might be most helpful in researching the lines.We will be reporting on Dean's findings and research as it is completed.

  Ron Farr is now serving a family history mission in Salt Lake.To coordinate research or obtain further training from Ron, feel free to call him at (801)961-9296.He indicated there are a number of classes available for training and you may also spend time with him in Salt Lake.He also encourages further training at local Family History Libraries in your areas.The church, according to last count, has 3,000 of them around the world; so there is plenty of opportunity to be trained and involved in the exciting work of research.Ron spoke of one family member who was excited about getting involved in the research program.Please let Ron know of your interest so that he can give you an assignment.

  Ron pointed out dupli-cations go on and on and again commented on the 15-17 hours needed to do temple work for one person.If a person's work is done seven times due to errors in failing to check dates, there is over 100 hours of effort wasted.Ron emphasized how important it is to be careful in our research.
