Solange Falardeau was born in Saint-Redempteur, a small suburb of the city of Quebec.Solange took up the creative challenge and pursued studies in Plastic Arts at community college and in visual art at Laval University. She also took part in several workshops given by well-known artists, and participated in a number of group exhibitions such as the "Salon des Aquartellistes du Canada" in 1997, where she received a commendation for her artistic creativity. In 1998, she was accepted as a member of the Canadian Watercolour Society.Since 1986, she has taught visual art to teens and adults. My work as an instructor has been recognized by the Minister of Culture and Communications of Quebec. Her love of art and creativity stimulate her to promote the importance of spontaneity, taste, and originality, and to cultivate freedom of body movement and expression. Her works are presented in galleries since 1996.
Her uniqueness has been present since the beginning. It is always progressive. She never stops creating, and her determination has inspired her to go further in her art.She works in opaque tones to allocate precisely the right touch required to release the luminescence of her subjects. This gives her work surprising strength. All the dynamism her works demonstrate transmogrify the energy and intensity of her vision."Solange is a talented woman who translates her emotions into her paintings. Her works are soft and full of life. She emanates, all at once, power and softness.Solange gives all her heart; through her art she sings love and beauty" -Francoise Desgagné
