  Mr. James F.X. Fahy is a partner at the law firm of Schiff Hardin & Waite and he leads the firm's Dublin office.He concentrates his practice in general banking law, finance, corporate, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and consolidations, education, labor and employment, insurance, and international law.His practice also emphasizes United Kingdom and Ireland-based clients doing business or operating in the United States.
  
  His most recent experience includes serving as General Counsel, Secretary, and Compliance Officer, Pullman Group, Inc./Acorn Financial Corporation (sold in 1994)/ Pullman Bank and Trust Company/Pullman Bank of Commerce & Industry/Suburban Trust & Savings (sold in 1994), 1991 to 1997.Mr. Fahy has also been active in the business and law communities for several years, notably as a director of Trans Pacific Bancorp and as co-chairman of the University College Dublin-Chicago Law Committee.
  
  Mr. Fahy received his undergraduate degree (B.A., Political Science, 1983) from DePaul University, his graduate degree (Diploma, 1984) from the University of San Diego School of Law Institute for Comparative and International Law, and his law degree (J.D., 1986) from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.
  
  Mr. Fahy is a native of Galway, Ireland and is admitted to practice in Illinois.
