Mr. Aidan Fahy

The local group have the backing of the Cork Mental Health Foundation of which Glanworth man, Aidan Fahy is chairman.

Mr. Aidan Fahy, Chairman, MHAI in welcoming delegates said "I believe that as an association we must endeavour to ensure that mental health receives due recognition from governments and health management.Mental health problems can present a heavy load for economies of the country but it is paramount that we tackle, in a structured way, a mental health promotion strategy which will help people to realise the importance of positive mental health and also a strategy to ensure that those people who have or had problems of mental ill health are properly cared for, not alone medically but also socially and workwise.Mental health crosses all boundaries".
