In the longer run, the busy cycle may tail off on the wastewater side, Fagan says.

"We will build some of these facilities and then be in a maintenance mode," he adds.

Mr. Fagan started his career with Hazen and Sawyer in 1970 and rejoined the firm in 1997 to serve as Vice President/Director of Operations.From 1979-1997, he earned a law degree, served as an environmental management consultant for major accounting firm, and co-founded an environmental management consultancy.In his current role at Hazen and Sawyer, in addition to being responsible for the firm's operation and administration, Mr. Fagan is directing some of the largest water projects in the Northeast Region.He is also a member of the Board of Directors.Mr. Fagan holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Manhattan College, and a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University in New York.He is a member of the American Water Works Association, Water Environment Federation, and New York State Bar Association.
